Subject: Township Meeting

25% Pay Increase for Diamond the Judge! I watched the township meeting on Friday night and I was so mad that the 25% pay increase for Diamond went through. How could they vote yes after so many in our township lost their jobs this year, between the police officers and the schools. I just don't get it. The more I drive around the township. I see more and more abandoned homes and homes for sale. Talk about yes people! I saw how the vote went, who voted yes and who voted no.

The vote noted by the author of the above e-mail did take place. However, that vote was one of two that is required to pass a new ordinance.


The final vote is expected to take place during the next Township Committee meeting, Tuesday September 28, 2010. The September 28 meeting is not scheduled to be televised.


There will be a special public comment period during the September 28, 2010 meeting specifically for this matter. Typically this type of matter is handled early on in the meeting agenda. The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 P.M.
