A SPECIAL ELECTION, BOND REFERENDUM BALLOT QUESTION, WILL BE POSED TO THE TAX PAYERS OF WINSLOW TOWNSHIP ON MARCH 10, 2009. BE SURE TO CAST YOUR VOTE!
UNOFFICIALLY WINSLOW HAS PREVIOUSLY ASKED WINSLOW TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION, UNDER THE OPEN PUBLIC RECORDS ACT, FOR FINANCIAL DETAILS AND AND THE COST TO THE TAX PAYERS OF WINSLOW TOWNSHIP.
THE BOARD OF EDUCATION'S REPLY INDICATED THAT FINANCIAL IMPACT TO THE TAX PAYER COULD NOT BE DETERMINED UNTIL THE BOARD OF EDUCATION RECEIVES FINANCIAL DATA FROM THE STATE OF NEW JERSEY. NOR WAS THE BOARD OF EDUCATION ABLE TO PROVIDE THE ACTUAL BALLOT QUESTION THAT WILL BE POSED IN A FEW WEEKS TO THE TAX PAYERS AND RESIDENTS OF WINSLOW TOWNSHIP.
