LET'S GET THE FACTS STRAIGHT !

Below is an audio clip of Committeewoman Barbara Holcomb explaining her reasons for not seeking re-election to the Township Committee. Holcomb also complains about being subjected to intimidation, hostility, insulting, manipulation of facts, scare tactics, and being stripped of responsibilities.

Holcomb also took credit for accomplishments of the governing body. Even though the governing body is a committee of nine members. However, Holcomb failed to mention she and her cronies managed to kill Committeeman Cooper's motion, from seven months ago, when Mr. Cooper wanted to address the issue of security at the middle and high schools. Was Holcomb's Open Public Records (OPRA) request a form of intimidation? (Click here)

Was Holcomb being hostile to our Mayor when she made a motion to cut the Mayor's assistant's hours in half? (Click here)

Holcomb gave herself credit for water and sewer issues, but failed to mention the $600,000.+ worth of water and sewer contracts that were awarded to Churchill Associates by manipulating funds incorrectly. Click here for details.

Subject: Thank you!

Congratulations on a job well done. Because of your untiring efforts the citizens of Winslow Township have found a place to express their frustrations, share their thoughts and dreams and in general, gather together to take their government back from the self serving politicians who owned this Township for so long.

It is true that the some of self servers have paid themselves handsomely by securing cushy jobs for themselves and their family members so that even in defeat, they will be living at taxpayer expense for years to come [which may have been their objective in the first place] but, at least, they have lost the power to do more harm.

The Township Committee has been reclaimed by the people. They are reading your work, adding their own thoughts and moving forward by voting in a responsible manner. School Board elections are no longer owned by the well funded machine that used fear, intimidation and subliminal messages to rouse their voters while the rest of the citizens simply stayed home because they did not understand the issues or the importance of their vote. Now they understand! Now they vote!

The Holcomb/Wright gang has been defeated by the truth squad [AKA UNofficially Winslow]. Because of your help those who enter politics for all of the right reasons now have a much needed medium to bring unvarnished truth to the people of Winslow Township.

Thank you.

Grateful Citizen

Is Holcomb moving on?

Will Holcomb be appointed to the Committee at a later date? As was done in the past.

Will the Democrat party change the petitioner's name? As permitted by law.

Will Holcomb hold a write-in campaign?

Sicklerville Resident Harry Sohn incorrectly hounds the Mayor for attending two meetings in one evening. Mayor Metzner addresses Mr. Sohn below. Mr. Sohn also is not pleased with Mr. Comuso's Letter to the Courier-Post editor. (Also posted on this website)

Fran Sohn, wife of previous speaker Harry Sohn, expresses concerns about Kaplan's recent Letter to the Editor of the Courier-Post Newspaper (Also posted on this web site). Mrs. Sohn also feels cutting the Mayor's assistant's hours was a wise move to save tax dollars. Like in the past, Mrs. Sohn apparently has no clue of what she is talking about. The Township budget includes the full time salary for the Mayor's assistant. Click Here to view the current Township budget documents concerning the Mayor's assistant's position. The Democrat majority cutting the hours of the Mayor's assistant with no medical benefits will not save Winslow Township's budget one dime. In the opinion of Unofficially Winslow, Mrs. Sohn's dramatic appearance is nothing more then rhetoric.

One might also note that Mrs. Fran Sohn is employed by Camden County which is controlled by the Camden County Democrat machine. Which Holcomb is the vice chair of.

Resident Bill Price addresses the Democrat majority about being fair when assigning Township Committee members directorships to various Township departments. Mr. Price also gives advice on how to stop the unwanted editorials to local newspaper editors. The majority Democrat party can start by re-establishing the Mayor's full time assistant, says Mr. Price.

Resident Ken Comuso speaks to the complaints regarding his recent Letter to the Editor. (Also posted on this website.) Mr. Comuso explains that he is disabled and takes it as a personal attack when the majority Democrat party took away the Mayor's full time assistant. Noting that the Mayor is visually impaired. Mr. Comuso expresses he is strong willed and is going to "take back" this community.

4 boys charged in threats

Thursday, April 6, 2006

By ERIK SCHWARTZ
Courier-Post Staff

CAMDEN
Authorities accused a fourth boy in the alleged plot to kill some 25 people at Winslow Township High School and added more serious charges against all of the suspects.

The new defendant is a 15-year-old Hammonton High School student.

The other boys are Winslow High students -- a 15- and a 16-year-old from the Sicklerville section, and a 14-year-old from the Waterford section.

Police would not say whether other people would be charged. They said the investigation is continuing.

The new charges against the youths include consipracy to commit murder and perhaps the first accusation locally of a new state crime called "terrorism." Police also charged the boys with making terroristic threats and conspiracy to make terroristic threats.

Additionally, the 14-year-old is charged with a second count of making terroristic threats and one count of simple assault for grabbing the neck of a girl who was a fellow Winslow High student on March 15, authorities said.

The Winslow students have been suspended from school, Interim Superintendent Michael E. Schreiner said.

Superior Court Judge Angelo J. DiCamillo this morning ordered the four boys held in the Camden County Youth Detention Center in Blackwood. They must undergo psychiatric and psychological testing before a hearing April 13.

DO THESE BUSINESSES COMPLY WITH LOCAL REGULATIONS?

The Planning Board, Zoning Board, Economic Development Council, Township Committee, and Master Plan efforts all strive in their respective disciplines for a community we can all be proud of.

To view the full effect, please click on the photographs to enlarge.

UNofficially Winslow requested a review of permits, zoning paperwork, Planning Board resolutions and the like. A honest effort was made by the Township to locate the requested documents. Some documents were located while others either don't exist or required more research. UNofficially Winslow was informed if an written request was made, the matter would be looked into for zoning compliance and if permits exist.

UNofficially Winslow paid for the documents that were located, and cancelled additional Open Public Records Requests for this issue.
